The Diamond Stone Eternal

The eternal stone diamond is the most sold in France. But what is its value?
Etymology : The word diamond comes from the Greek word "Adamas" meaning unconquerable. Symbol of eternity, this stone is often associated with marriage. Gem in the best-selling France, it is also a commodity: it is traded as a currency in exchanges of Antwerp, the diamond capital. Nearly half of cut diamonds comes from the Antwerp market.

Value: is determined by what we call the four C's in English: "carat, clarity, color & cut", ie the weight, purity, color and size. The nuances of the diamond range from white to yellow or pale pink. These tiny nuances are much sought after, almost as much as stone most pure. It is also the gemstone hardest: Only a diamond can scratch a diamond, which did not however prevent split collision important.
Composition: It is composed of pure crystallized carbon and forms the heart of the earth for hundreds of miles beneath our feet. Only one fifth of rough diamonds mined are of sufficient quality to be cut and result in the windows of a great jeweler. The great capitals of the size of the diamond are Antwerp, New York, Johannesburg, Tel Aviv and Mumbai.
Size: tailors involved only the finest pieces. Standard models are cut automatically and the laser is used to find defects stones. The purpose of pruning is to remove as much of possible inclusions in the stone, these small defects that can be dangerous in crashes, they are too deeply embedded in stone. To achieve maximum brilliance and "life", a diamond is cut according to certain dimensions and proportions. Dimensions that also vary from one continent to another: the American and European standards are different and the size "ideal" on the European market does not quite the same extent as that from the U.S. market.
